Instructions on how to apply DeLice Shampoo
DeLice Shampoo is natural and very effective against head lice. The DeLice Shampoo has 8 oz. in each bottle and should be enough to treat four kids or adults. Apply the shampoo liberally to dry hair until hair is drenched. Be sure to massage the shampoo into the scalp and hair until there are no dry spots. Dry spots allow lice to survive.
After you know that every single hair on the head is coated with Delice Shampoo from root to tip, use a shower cap to cover the head for 20 minutes. Take cap off and shower with regular shampoo. After that, lean the head back over a sink or basin and use a lice comb to comb out the dead lice and nits. Make sure when combing that the teeth of the lice comb always touches the scalp while combing to pick up any lice and nits attached to scalp. Comb daily after shampooing to remove dead lice and nits.
After you have combed out the hair, shampoo the hair a second time and repeat the steps above. After that blow dry the hair and inspect to make sure there are no more lice or nits that were missed. This product is not approved by the FDA for use as a treatment for head lice since it is made with natural ingredients.
Facts about Lice
Lice aren't dangerous and they don't spread disease, but they are contagious and can just be downright annoying. Their bites may cause your child's scalp to become itchy and inflamed and persistent scratching may lead to skin irritation and even infection. See the
Lice article for more details.
